War is hard
What are we all fighting for?
Waiting and wondering if it will ever end
Want to see all the happiness again
When I see the children that miss their mom and dad
It’s just so sad
When is this war going to end?
Peace,love and joy
shall we have
When the war ends.
The war is tough and can be rough
All the fighting for their country
Can be tough
People waiting for news at home
Wondering if their beloved
Will ever come home
The children worried about their life.
Worried about all the fights.
To scared to sleep
Will the bombs hit their street?
Will they win or will they lose
The war the war goes on for so long it has to stop
So I wrote this song.
Air raid siren…

Devastated faces,
In the dusty town.
Roofs like match sticks.
No houses,
Just piles of houses.
10 o’clock strikes
A burning smell
The spiky wood pricks your fingers
No windows, just smashed glass.
Torn curtains flapping in the wind.
Last night’s flames licked the building.
Nowhere to live,
What next?

The bangs are getting closer
I’ve been sent away in the countryside…
World War 2 was a big fight
Lots of soldiers full of might,
Crowds of men ready to pound
Soldiers going homeward bound
All their children and their wives
Wanting to save their lives,
You’d better not look
Just stick to a book.
Hiding from their enemies
Locked the door but lost the keys,
People shooting with their guns
Wanting to see their sons.
Why is war?
what is war for?
people lose there parents in war
war is knocking at our door
so hide under the floor
war is here

everyone is dead
people at the funeral
cry goodbye
and families missed because of war
War is a world war,
That shall never end,
Because it is a world war,
It might never end,
But why are we even fighting?
It is a world with war,
that shall end!
War is danger,
You will be unhappy when a bomb hits hard,
Don’t run stay in your shelter,
You will be frightened,
You might be sad if you are a child and you have to leave your family,
You might come back and your parents might have died because of a bomb,
The shelters can be safe if a bomb doesn’t drop,
If your parents are in the shelter they will probably die,
This is the part of war that is danger.
Cannons blaze as I speak,
lots of soldiers getting tired and weak,
as I look around,
a plane drops to the ground.
Lots of soldiers getting a disease,
I want to go home, if you please,
air raids going off,
lots of smoke making people cough.
my heart is pounding with fear,
my eye suddenly gets a tear,
I want a three leaf clover
so soon this war could be over
War, war is danger
soldiers running on the muddy ground
Soldiers shooting quick and fast,
People running to a shelter,
Screaming for help,
Children crying calling their mums and dads,
War, war is over,
Children running to their mums and dads really happy.
