War is Here

by Katie Hill and Jamie Lucas aged 10 and 10

War is danger,
You will be unhappy when a bomb hits hard,
Don’t run stay in your shelter,
You will be frightened,
You might be sad if you are a child and you have to leave your family,
You might come back and your parents might have died because of a bomb,
The shelters can be safe if a bomb doesn’t drop,
If your parents are in the shelter they will probably die,
This is the part of war that is danger.

War has Begun…

by Evie and Francesca aged 10

Cannons blaze as I speak,
lots of soldiers getting tired and weak,
as I look around,
a plane drops to the ground.

Lots of soldiers getting a disease,
I want to go home, if you please,
air raids going off,
lots of smoke making people cough.

my heart is pounding with fear,
my eye suddenly gets a tear,
I want a three leaf clover
so soon this war could be over

War Danger

War, war is danger
soldiers running on the muddy ground
Soldiers shooting quick and fast,
People running to a shelter,
Screaming for help,
Children crying calling their mums and dads,

War, war is over,
Children running to their mums and dads really happy.

Fighting Is a Bad Thing To Do!!!

by Joseph Micheal Wisher aged 9

Fighting is a bad thing to do,
just make up and start new.

Why don’t you turn over a new leaf,
this whole thing will end up with someone needing a handkerchief.

Let this not lead to spilling blood,
your just going to keep kicking each other into the mud.

Just have a nice time enjoy your life,
eventually you’ll be throwing a knife!

All you need to do is shake hands,
or you’ll end up breaking, like stone into sand.

Apologise before someone gets hurt,
all your doing is falling in the dirt.

just be happy and don’t be too rough,
if you don’t stop now you’ll never get enough!

Fighting is a bad thing to do,
just make up and start anew.

Hell on Earth

Bombs, guns…
Germans,
Death, suffering, gas
No one wants this again,
World War 1
and World War 2…
hell for us all,
barbed wire in spirals,
This is hell on earth.

The Life of a Pilot

Cockpit… Guns …
BLUE 5 ARE YOU THERE?

DEATH…

Swinging upside down, dropping bombs,
and saving lives , a war wouldn’t be a war without
pilots and their planes.

The Never Ending War

0
by Cain Spalding aged 10

Guns blazing, lives going to critical levels,
fire… despair… bombs,
hopelessness… bunkers… blood,
yes this happened…but hopefully never again,
but the Germans didn’t realize how many lives it cost,
for this has happened twice,
World War 1…
and World War 2.

Perseverance of War

0
by Harshita.J aged 14

Plant your feet – and
Take a brace…
See it through!
When it is in vain – Do
the best that you
can do

You may fail, but you may
Conquer,
Keep on the motto –Try,
Try , Try , Try
For a fine fame…!
See it through…!

If worst is beyond you to happen
Spite of all you can do
Running will not save you,
If you strike a thorn
Or rose
Keep on going…!

It is no use of crying
When the world is ,
Looming dark
And things seem so clear ,
Just remember the – Lord!
See it through..!
When your up against
Trouble,
Meet it squarely,
Face to face,
Lift your chin and set
Your shoulders!
Life is with the rough and
Smooth…,
Life is with ups and
Downs…,
Don’t be scare-face
it brave…,
See it through…!

Agony, death, pain
My brother who died in vain
I will remember
