A Dinosaur at the Bus Stop

A Dinosaur at the Bus Stop by Kate Wakeling(Otter-Barry)
Illustrated by Eilidh Muldoon

A nice collection of poems on all the usual subjects for younger children.
Dinosaurs, wardrobes that turn into monsters when the lights go out, funny
dances, a few riddles and (sadly) farts all put in an appearance. I especially like
The Splendid Song of the Bat, the Rat, the Dolphin, the Hippopotamus, the
Rhinoceros, the Sloth and the Tiger which is a blank page – apparently all these
animals make sounds that are inaudible to the human ear. I didn’t know that!
