The Three Friends

by Ahana Chakravarty aged 8

The three friends will never let go

Even in sunshine or the fiercest snow

Sometimes they might fight

But a little bit after they find a delight

Between them. They might tell on each other,

And sooner or later they forgive one another.

Sometimes they disagree, but that’s okay;

Sooner or later, they find their way

All they know

Is that they’ll never fully break apart

Maybe in worlds, but not in their heart
