Sea Monster

by Anjanaa Rhea Ganeson aged 12

In the deep dark sea
Lies beneath a secret untold
Of a mysterious sea monster
That’s likely to unfold
But who and what is it?
A shark, a kraken, a whale ?

A shark, that’s who it is,
With it’s sharp and pointy teeth
That silently whispers come to me,
In the silent deep sea…
And “GULP” went the shark
As it gulped down its prey.

When night comes
Is when the shark arrives…
So watch out creatures ,
As the whispers come in our mind,
Of a familiar sea monster,
Of lies and secrets untold.
