Levi Discovers if Time Travel is a Thing

by Levi aged 8

I’ve invented something great.
A time machine.
I’ll turn it on and…
OH MY, IT WORKED
I’M IN THE FUTURE!!!!!
Oh, hi, future me!!!!!
Pff! YOU’RE NOT GONNA LISTEN?!
WELL I’M GOING TO THE STONE AGE!
WHOP! BANG! WIZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!
I’m now in the stone age.
I will play with my tablet while I’m here…

…WHAT? NO SIGNAL?! UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH!
Now I shall travel back to the future.
WHOP BANG WIZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!
The end!

The future has an END…?
Now I’ll go to BEFORE ANYTHING WAS MADE!
Uhh, bad idea!
Back home?
Yeah!

The end (and I actually mean it this “TIME”)

Every night
I think of them
Every night
I love them
Every night
I wonder
If every night
They love me

A Dark Glare

1
by Ilhan Rahman

Silence!
A black view,
everything new.
A shooting star,
across our car.
Four eyes;
Wandering the skies.
Two heads,
out of beds.
Waiting to receive,
something massive.
Suddenly!
A scatterring glare,
of a known hair.
Blocking the way,
of the moon’s ray
Scattering the sky,
in my eye.
A silky feeling,
around my face.
Moving my,
body’s haze.
A sudden,
breeze moved her hair.
Letting the moon again glare.
Suddenly,
two shots.
Across our hearts,
flooding the road of our bloods.
We fell over our ends,
in the same trend.
That’s how our lives end.

The Game of Fate

0
by Aditi Vishwanath

Blaming yourself, for the mishap occurred,
convicting yourself, for ruining the peace.
Most of us do the same, to blame ourselves or others,
and just thinking the impact, of the befallen mishap.

Appreciating yourself, for the fortuity arisen,
complimenting yourself, for bringing the change.
The majority do the same, praising yourself or others,
joyously celebrating, the arrival of fortuity.

But, few and far between this world,
realize that it’s the game of fate,
and an incident had befallen,
because it had to befall.

My Favourite Place KIDZANIA

by Shaurya Mahajan aged 10

KIDZANIA, a place of wonder, joy and fun ,
We learn to cook pizzas, burgers and buns:
There are many roles that we can play,
But cannot do all in a day.

Passport, licence, ATM and all,
Can be used for shopping in the Kidzania mall:
There were roaming many cart pullers,
I worked in Nexa,
Nickelodeon and Colors.

There is education, entertainment, health and media,
In archaeology we can study the whole Wikipedia:
When we leave they us Ki,
Allow our dreams to fly up high.

You’ll never be BRAVE
If you never get HURT

You’ll never LEARN
if you don’t make MISTAKES

You’ll never be SUCCESSFUL
If you don’t encounter FAILURE!

Monsters

by Millie Payne aged 7

Monster, monster so hairy and scary,
Monster, monster red and grumpy,
His teeth are sharp, prickles all over his back.

Monster, monster old and wrinkly,
Monster, monster silly and friendly,
He is brave and tiny.

There’s a Monster Under My Bed

0
by Jacob Dallisson aged 7

There’s a monster
Under my bed,
From the dead
Skinny, scary and hairy.

There’s a monster
Under my bed,
He looks like a rainbow because his hair is red.
Skinny, scary and hairy.

There’s a monster
Under my bed,
As fluffy and friendly
As my ted.
As my ted.
