Being Trans (non-binary)

by Ev A. aged 11

Being me
Is so hard to be
Annoying brothers
Homophobic Grandma
Know it all Grandpa
I can’t be me
I told my Mom
I’m bi and trans
She still calls me “Girl”
Still calls me “She”
Why can’t she see
That is not me

Hi. I’ve put your poem in the teenage section as it fits with other poems, and teenagers, trying to sort out who they are and what life’s all about.
