Competition Entry

A curious monkey had a dumb brain
He met a boy named Don who loved dogs
and Don could not train the monkey’s dumb brain
The monkey was sad and sat on some logs
Don was sad that the monkey was so mad
and went to go cheer him up with a smile
but in monkey’s mind Don was really really bad
so monkey just told Don to walk a mile
Don did what the monkey told him to do
but when monkey opened his big, black eye
Don was not there and monkey went boo hoo
Monkey saw that Don had something to buy
monkey and Don were the best of friends again
but then they saw a weird, creepy group of men

At the zoo I saw a baby baboon,
a little boy was catching a bee,
some friends were climbing in a tree like monkeys,
my dad bought me a balloon,
a bone was under a dog,
a cat always have a bat,
a cat was catching a rat on a her bat.

There once was a cat who sat on a mat
I saw a cheeky donkey on a train
and I also saw a cheeky monkey on a hat
I have to say that donkey had a brain,

I went to the park and I saw a duck
I was in the garden and i saw a bee
from you to me that duck gave me luck
sadly it was stuck on a very big tree,

I was in Thorpe park and i saw a ride
In class my Favorite topic is fun rhymes
But I have to say the best ride is the slide
But there is one thing I do not it’s time,

I was in the forest and I saw a beast
The crazy thing was that it was having a feast,

One day at the shop there was a monkey.
He played with his tail, he was so chesty.
The monkey saw a big and furry donkey.
Who hid behind a tree the monkey said, “You are so sneaky.”

There was once a cat
Who sat on a mat
The bat made the cat flap
Then the bat sat on the mat
But actually it was a cat

There was an orange, greedy cat,
That made friends with a monkey,
The monkey didn’t like the cat because he was fat,
So the monkey made friends with a donkey,

No one liked the cat because he was so chunky,
He was so scared to walk on the street that he went so shy,
He hid his talent which was dancing. He was really funky,
These moves made him so fly.

There once was a cat,
Who wanted to make a cake,
Sat on a mat ,
Near a lake,

Wearing a dress of blue,
Yes it’s true,
She got it from the mall,
On her head,
Was a wand,
So instead she said,
“Please help me wand,”
“Bibbitey bobbety boo,”
“Please don’t turn me into goo.”

There once was a yellow and funny duck,
Who never left his yellow coloured pond,
Because he believed it gave him luck,
Unfortunately he wasn’t too fond,

One day the duck found a yellow rimmed cup,
In his small pond, the blue duck went crazy,
In fact he took off his pink hearted top,
The duck gave up because he was too lazy,

He asked a very ugly yet tall man,
“Why did you throw away this yellow cup?”
“Oh my god, a talking duck I’m a fan!”
“I’ll give you an autograph if you stop!”

So the blue duck gave him an autograph
The man was so happy he started to barf!

I like to play football in the park
I love to play outside with my friends
Lee frightened me to death then I barked
The lion it was vicious
I made a cake last Saturday, yes I did, it was scrumptious
A dog ate my homework then I fainted
So I baked a cake and it was delicious
