A book to keep and treasure. This is just a wonderful hardback collection of poems, beautifully illustrated so that each verse forms the shape of the animal it’s about. Very clever and intriguing. The poems themselves are thoughtful, fun and interesting. This goes to the top of my Christmas list to be given to young and old. No surprise that it recently won the prestigious NST award as best poetry book for children.
