Today my teacher walked in like a zombie
She looked like a zombie
She talked like a zombie…
OMG MY TEACHER IS A ZOMBIE!!!
It really is quite an odd occasion
That the world gets caught up in a zombie invasion
Now I know what you’re thinking
Run away you crazy person!!!
I wanted to I really did
But I was frozen to the floor in fear
(I was also really tired. We’d just had gym.)
The teacher went outside at break with all the other kids
I waited and I waited until I could wait no more
In the YR6 classroom till I heard a knock at the door
Creeping carefully and cautiously, I peeked through the window
A gzillion billion trillion darkened faces staring back at me
The door was slowly opened by the one who infected them all
They trudged in before me chanting ,”Brains, brains, brains!”
And I was transformed into a zombie just like them all
So now I’m sitting writing this with my creepy zombie hands
I wonder if there is a reason that our teacher became a zombie?
Lack of sleep? Not enough food?
Oh I’ve got it! She began to turn a shade of green when the class just wouldn’t shut up
Well that’s a lesson for all of us. Never disobey your teacher when she tells you to be quiet
Or you could end up turning into a zombie just like me
Then again work can be really hard sometimes so why not settle with a loud whisper?;)
I really like this poem Jemima. It rocks
Should I be worried that I might start to turn a funny shade of green?!! Imaginative poem Jemima!
Yes Mrs Carr, yes you should 😉
