A Year in Haiku

by Tom Bartley aged 10

Spring.
A carpet of grass
The cuddly lamb, soft like clouds
Best time of the year.

Summer.
The glitterball climbs
Gleaming brightly in the sky
Its glowing with pride.

Autumn.
Leaves fall and go red
They turn crispy as they drop
Leaves blanket the ground.

Winter.
The snow falls slowly
The wind whistles like an owl
Snow drenches the ground
