I Will Put in my Box

by Taylor Tolley aged 11

I will put in my box
My primary spoken word
My first dog that died on Boxing Day
And having my first sister

I will put in my box
The fundamental time I won a football match
My last year at nursery
And meeting David Beckam

I will put in my box
The softness of my first blanket
Two birds
And all of my family

I will put in my box
The joy of snow
The sadness of rain
And the happiness of summer

My box is fashioned from
The glamour of a diamond gem
The shine of a golden ring
And hinges of a football pitch

I shall kick my box with laughter
To there and back again
