A poem about cerebral palsy
I am a white twisted jelly bean.
All the rainbow coloured jelly beans make fun of me
Because I look different, I wish they would leave me be
I wish my shape was unseen.
White jelly beans have no colour
White jelly bean doesn’t get awards
Coloured jelly beans have opened doors
Can I be any duller?
Inside I’m a BLUE jelly bean
Outside all broken and white
Even if I try with all my might
Nothing I do makes me seen.
If someone could see me as bright and blue
Not white and dull and broken
Hear me like I have spoken
Would make me feel brand new.
Such a lovely poem! 😉
