Last night I had a dream
I was playing football for my favourite team
I want to be in a rock band as a drummer
We’ll play at festivals every summer
I want a big pond full of newts and frogs
I think they’re much more fun then cats and dogs
I saw an old man with a beard
Who said, ” It is just as I feared!
Two owls and a hen
Four Larks and a wren,
Have all built their nests in my beard!”
I want to write songs and poems to make you clap and cheer
Maybe I will be famous, like Edward Lear.
