What I Want to Be

by Elodie Barker aged 10

I want to be a gymnast
Cartwheeling down the aisle
In my red sparkly leotard
Whilst my homework lies in a pile.

I want to be a gymnast
And dedicate my time to train
But I have to get up very early
And that can be a  pain.

I want to be a gymnast
It’s my passion and my dream
To win a gold medal for my country
And maybe even meet The Queen.
