So this is OUR world,
A world of trauma and despair,
A society controlled by the media,
A world so harsh it makes you shed a tear.

A world were your fate is decided,
Based on your gender or race,
A world of secrets and betrayal,
Were people disappear without leaving a trace.

A world were we are told,
We are too young to make a decision,
Or it’s only just a phase.

Cities full of pollution,
Oceans full of plastic,
Comments full of negativity,
And places full of darkness.

We live in a void,
Blocking out the world outside,
Forgetting the people in need,
Forgetting the world we left behind!
