Watching London

by Robert aged 11

The London Eye
Scours the darkness
Like a guard.

Canary Wharf
Howls to the moon
Like an alarm
Other buildings listen intently.

Parliament
Admires himself
In the reflection of the Thames
Museums frown upon his vanity.

The sun rises over the Shard
Staring straight through it
As if it were a magnifying glass.
