Walking

by Zara- sky Damerell aged 10

My feet are bricks dragging along.
Ouch! My feet throb.
While I still had time I went for a climb.
I felt relieved to finish.
I went stomp, stomp, stomp.
The pressure pumped upon me.
Rose and I went to cool down.
I was as tired as a hipper lion cub after play time.
This is a poem about the brilliance of walking!
