Upon Riveting

by Aafreen Zainab Kashif aged 15

I envision a future
When worry diminishes,
When the battle wears,
When the calamity finishes,
And when the tears are spared.

I picture a philosophy,
With entwining smiles,
With shaking hands,
And with wisps of warmth,
Which the heart understands.

I daze upon a daydream,
With truthful skies and roaming sands,
With eyes of stars and gait of grand,
With no fear to stop us. no fret to stand,
When goodwill is our homeland.
