Two bananas interlinked,
I sit and ponder on what to think
an inane thought brought to life,
as i recollect this memory of mine.
Two bananas interlinked,
how silly and foolish,
what to think!
A bond between two
spiritually intertwined,
interlinked.
As you pull and tug and pull,
they stay and their skins fall apart
to reveal a sweet centre,
a realisation they’ve both encountered,
a vivid complex life.
They learnt to love
and they fall apart
and their fragility
stays,
but so does their bond.
Intertwined, interlinked, bond.
