Everyone experiences true love,
even to love a new book, or a neat little nook,
bags and shoes, flowers and cats, dogs and more,
but that was before Covid without any bore.
You might like a TV star (not me),
or even insects like a bee.
You wait and wait for a new Netflix show
which you want to adore.
For moms and dads are fashion and food,
even designer shoes,
Older sisters and brothers love music and gadgets
BUT…. that is not true love.
We wait ’til we are in our teens to see,
for we are still young (even as much as we think we are not) ,
Our time WILL come soon.
