Time Travelling

by Patrick Millar aged 10

Turning through time
Inside my head, I’m aching, I’m shaking
My body is melting
Enlighting a flame of body held shame

Tumbling through time with no one to catch me, nothing
to hold
Running on air, my body shaking, wishing and pleading
to stop the aching
At last I stop. Bleeding and pleading to kneel and halt
Vomit building in my stomach
Exhilarating pain shoots through my body
Levitating on air
Leaving my soul
Inside a lifetime, fading away
Never coming back
Gone forever
