Three Little Owls

by Molly Copestake aged 8 almost 9

One snowy night in the midnight breeze,
there lived three owls who perched on three trees.
The first little owl was very bold and daring,
though when he wanted to be he could be very caring.
The second little owl perched daintily on her tree,
nothing was as pretty as her as far as she could see.
The last little owl so small and shy,
was only little and had not yet learnt to fly.
So the three little owls snuggled up to keep warm,
because as it was snowing there was a great, freezing storm.
So that is the story of the owls all three,
who flew away to find a warmer home by the sea.
