The World

by Charlie Vincent aged 10

Stars spilled over the empty sky
like shards of glass
broken by the darkness of the void,
screaming out for a hint of colour.

Meanwhile, God’s sacred hands
paint a picture,
worthy of any museum,
vibrant vegetation,
vanquished in every shade of green,
the waters of the sea flow in motion
like a never ending party.

The paws of every animal
Trample on the luscious land,
every step bundles life and hope,
from the mice to the meerkats,
the fish weave through the water
lit up by the vibrancy of the coral.

So the world’s blurb
is presented by the best book life has!
