Gun shots are heard, and grenades are thrown as soldiers run to take cover;
The chief yells GRENADE but is too late
From the smoke a soldier appears
He runs from the hiding to save his comrades life
He hopes for victory but he can’t go on with his injuries;
The pain causes him to collapse

He pushes the soil beneath his uniform determined to keep going
He refuses defeat, he cannot retreat and he takes a final stand
He sprints, determined to save the life trapped under the soil.
He finds is comrade laying there as blood rushes down his face.

He feels his heartbeat and gets a glimpse of hope,
The soldiers defend, feeling amazed as they run and help them up.
They bring them to safety.
As the soldier falls with his mission complete
