The Old House

by lolu aged 7

They say in the night the dogs take fright
And run howling from the streets
When the hooded owl shrieks
And you lie shaking beneath the sheets
They say when the moon is too terrified
To play with stones in the drive
When the bats bury their heads beneath their wings
Then the old house comes alive.

Part 2 Coming soon…
Watch out for the old house…
