Teachers, Oh Teachers

by Ruby aged 10

Teachers, oh teachers, you help us to learn
But sometimes you can be a little bit stern
Teachers, oh teachers, we learn English and maths
And sometimes we do have our laughs

Teachers, oh teachers, we can’t shout in a lesson
Otherwise we have to have another session
Teachers, oh teachers, you smile or groan
And we either giggle or else we moan.

Teachers, oh teachers, we have our pictures done
And then go on the playground and have some fun!
Teachers, oh teacher,s you blow your whistles
Meanwhile the cooks listen to all of the sizzles .

Teachers, oh teachers, you stay – we move on
And finally the day comes when we are gone .
Teachers, oh teachers, we’re in high school
Which is actually pretty good and cool!
