Summer Holiday

by Annabelle Lee aged 10

We’re all going on a summer holiday
To the seaside
We’re all going on a summer holiday
To the seaside

We pull up in the car
Time for lots of fun
Sandcastles galore
Time for eating ice cream in the sun

We’re all going on a summer holiday
To the seaside
We’re all going on a summer holiday
To the seaside

Splash splash splash
Time for swimming in the sea
Dry myself with the towel
I’m as happy as can be

We’re all going on a summer holiday
To the seaside
We’re all going on a summer holiday
To the seaside

With school beginning
And the holidays fading away
No more seaside no more fun
I’ll always remember my holiday

The holidays are over
I’m back at school
I’ve packed the holiday away
But the weather is cool like an ice cream.

With school beginning
