Struggle

by Somma aged 20

I’m really scared, and I have nowhere to go
No one to confide in
In this wicked world, nobody cares whether you live or die
Every night I soak my pillow with tears
I keep waiting for the sun to rise again

Let me continue my struggles, the street is really tough
We’re really in a very wicked world
I struggle to live in this no man’s land I’ll keep fighting
I won’t give up

I’m trying to make ends meet
Trying to make my family proud
Knowing one day I’ll definitely make it in life
I know that i have a very bright future ahead of me
And no human will stop me
It’s going to be better some day

Hi Somma. The cut off for this young people’s website is 18. But it’s a good poem so I’ll let it in this time.

I feel somehow connected with this poem and I’m only in 5th grade so I’m not sure how that even works but it does
