Sorry

by Qamar Said aged 15

My hair scattered on the floor

Pride engraved with it.

Trust and Love left behind

For the change to come.

I want to cover my eyes

But my hands are busy

Wiping the thundershower

Cleansing my soul in my eyes.

Memories sneak out of my eyes

and roll down my eyes.

No way out and now way in.

An aching sensation runs

Throw my sight to my heart.

It feels like I’m reaching for the stars,

You’ve kept it all under lock and key.

I’ve gone green with envy at the

hands linked carelessly before me.

I haven’t appreciated your words

Now I’m receiving silence.

I hear your silent scream

And is it too late to say sorry?
