Our Solar System
Has so many things, for us to explore
With these things around us
Life just can’t be a bore
We have got a Sun
And 8 planets, all around
All waiting and spinning there
For themselves to be found
We have got Mercury
Venus, Earth and Mars
And besides these planets
We have got asteroids and stars
We have comets
All with their beautiful tail
And in mystifying us
They never fail
We have got planets like Saturn
Which have gorgeous rings
And beyond the Solar System
We’ve got a million more things
We have got Galaxies
And our own Milky Way
We have our own star
Making nights and days
My word, don’t we have a lot to explore
I wonder if we’ll find out all of that
I mean in the whole universe
We are smaller than a zillionth of a rat!!!
