Shattering Teardrops

by Harshita Das aged 12

My tears shatter when they fall
They form a puddle as they touch the ground
They make a small pool
And I think, if this is the ocean for ants
Or tiny beings like gnomes and dwarves
And then I wonder
Who is crying for us?
