The summer holiday has started,
My schoolfriends and I have parted;
they came early this year
which I am glad to hear.
No more maths or English,
No more school macaroni cheese
School, don’t start again please.

I’m at home all alone
with nothing to do.
Schoolwork’s still on
and It’s hard on your own.
My sister’s gone back to school,
Covid really isn’t cool
school, start again please
