Poems are cool,
You have to write them at school,
Write them in your break,
Or on a walk by the lake,
They don’t have to rhyme,
But they do have to be in time.
Write poems about dogs,
Or cats or even frogs,
Poems can be funny,
About a cute little bunny,
Or very serious or sad,
About the war that’s very bad.
I quite like poems that are funny,
Poems where they all have ice cream and it’s nice and sunny,
