Pas Seulement Un Jeu

by Nico Smit, Kaden Warrington, Yohan and Qi Jen aged We are all under 13 (12)

Slowly disintegrating into ashes
Through days of pain
Withering in the gasses
What’s left will remain.
This is not a game.

Through biomes of despair,
Crouching with misery.
It wasn’t fair
Fighting for victory.
This is not a game.

Searching for hope,
Whilst comrades are in care.
They could not cope,
When they were in the air.
This is not a game.

During the war,
When bullets flew across.
We went far,
When their lives were lost.
It was all a lie.
