Depression

She cut’s her wrist
and lets the blood flow
like a river.

Her tears turn solid
so that it stay with her
forever.

She doesn’t see
a purpose in this world
and wishes she could disappear forever

She fights this everyday
not knowing
if she’ll see her tomorrow…

Fireworks Laughing Display

Loud fireworks banging
Sparklers whizzing around
Rockets shooting up like a gun to the air
Wheel fireworks going around

Machine making me laugh
Making big laughing noises
Laughing like a chatterbox
And a phone taking pictures

The Old House

1
by Sarvesh aged 10

On the end of the street,
There’s a rusty old house,
Which is inhabited by a dirty mouse.

There’s a crooked old man,
Who received a ban
From football, by his manager.

There’s also a chatterbox,
Really a person who loves a fox,
She’s a talkative old lady
Who has a daughter called Heidi.

So they lived until the age of 99,
Which was really old
And then their house had to be sold.

All About Money

If one lets you down,
you won’t have a crown,
you will be gone,
just find your song,
sharing is caring,
caring is daring,
being kind,
I don’t mind,
acting like a bunny
is really funny,
having no money
just like a bunny,
eating carrots,
just like parrots.

Our Amazing Solar System

I can see the planet Mars,
while I eat some chocolate bars
Up there is the blazing sun,
don’t look at it, it won’t be fun
Did u know that Jupiter has a ring?
You can hear it go ting ting ting
Neptune is colder than cold,
like the icepops that are sold
Mercury is tiny,
like little Mickey
Look at that big rocket
I wish I could put it in my pocket
Some people have lied,
that Uranus doesn’t lean on its side.

The Beach

by Olivia Conway aged 7

The sand is golden like the sun shining in kids’ eyes.
The waves are blue and strong like plastic.
The rocks are grey and smooth.
The sky is cloudy and sunny.
The beach is colourful and shiny.
Now it is time to go.
So goodbye, goodbye, goodbye.

Fireworks

by Poppy Class aged Year 1

Magnificent golden fountains
Explode with a loud
Amazing bang
Twirling curling and whirling in the smoky skies
Pop, shoot and blast
Rockets whizz
Spinning Catherine wheels
Eye-catching
Twirling, curling and whirling in the smoky skies
Twinkling bright
A rhythm in the night

Crying babies wanting more
Seagulls screeching near the shore
Grabbing more and more

Oi, goalie, get in goal
or you’re eating a mole,
Oi, get in defence instead of on strike
I don’t know when they will get it right,
Oi, centre, what are you doing?
Play properly so we win
and get good din dins.
Midfielder, your crossing is good
so you get an assist,
Get in team we won 3-0
You should feel happy with yourselves
and don’t be a silly elves in front of the fans.
