The wind howls as trees sway in the dark,
Where shadows follow you and bushes shake,
No one is heard
No one seen
But when you open your eyes it was only a dream.

The Magic Wonderland
Over a huge hill lives a wicked wizard
with his loving pet lizard
In the witch’s pocket she has a purple purse
buried with a precious curse
The dangerously hot potion
is shaking in a slow motion
The sorcerer is getting sticky
and needs help from Micky
Quickly, the marvelous magician used his magic
to transfer everybody to the Atlantic
The greediest witch
set out for the light switch
When someone disappears
the witch never makes them again appear
The wizard threw some fairy-dust
on top of the actual brown crust
Magic in Life
As long as the sun shines, as long as the sky’s bright,
As long as the stars shine to guide us through the night,
As long as the meadows are full of pretty flowers and trees,
As long as the sky’s full of the birds an bees,
As long as the dogs, cats and other an’imals live
As long as theres always a way to forgive,
As long as there’s children, husband and wife,
Theres no way to doubt the magic in life
It’s Magic!
* * * * * * WINNING POEM * * * * * *
A little bedtime when I see a sparkle
It glimmers and shimmers and won’t stop
Then I wonder what it is
Maybe it’s a…
A fairy
With two sparkling wings that shine all the time,
A little dress all covered with ribbons and bows
As well as hair that flows and flows
Or a shooting star
Shining as bright as the sun
With points as sharp as knives
Mostly golden on the outside
Or a firefly
Glowing with delight
Flying at a slow pace at the dead of night
Not being cautious of where it’s going
Of course it’s not
When something glows
It can only mean one thing
IT’S MAGIC!
Let’s Find the Magic
It’s time to find the magic
Where’s the magic?
Let’s go look in the forest
What about the jungle?
How about Antarctica?
Let’s go see the Sahara Desert
Let’s search my house
Let’s go search your house
We Can’t Find The Magic!
Guess what?
What?
…………………..
The Magic has always been inside of us!
Over the Bridge
At night the fairies wake
They fly far over the lake
To a small, small village
Over the bridge and behind the hedge
They go to this village
At night
Sometimes they get a bite
Over the bridge and behind the hedge
They always carry a
Little light
To help with their sight
Sometimes they leave
A little hint
One time, they sent a letter
It read:
Over the bridge and behind the hedge!
Fairy Play
In a big loud grand rose bush
Thorns sharp as a spear
Some fairies play princesses
Tree elves Shakespeare
They practiced and practiced
And practiced the play
And they will perform at the end of the day
In a big loud grand rose bush
Petals pink as a pig
Little young Daisy
Has dropped her blond wig
The audience giggled
And Daisy turned red
“Oopsies my wig!”
She quite shyly said.
Weird Young Lad
There was a young lad with a beard.
Overtime became more and more weird.
He ate an odd pear
Which made him a bear.
Inside his house then he was feared.
Magical Animal Man
There was a man that was magical
Who was always just like an animal
He thought of himself as a magical bear
And he always hung out at the fair.
