On Saturday morning, I went to Gaston Farm
For the Open Lambing Weekend.
I held two beautiful ducklings: one black; one white;
One tried to peck at my jumper stripes.
I held two extremely lovely golden chicks
All four were very delicate, soft and smooth.
I wanted to take them all home and keep them as pets.

I went to the sheep barn next door
And watched all the baby lambs.
One of the two I saw was fifteen minutes old.
He was nuzzling his Mama
And as I watched,
He learned to stand up on his second try, so bold.
I saw his new baby brother being born.
Then I had a ride on the tractor around the farm.

Saturday night it was early to sleep
As Easter Bunny would be driving along in her jeep.
Easter Bunny comes in the middle of the night
So I closed my eyes and kept them shut tight.

Sunday morning I opened my presents
After checking around the house to find what was there.
Easter eggs and a Lego box,
I opened them up with lots of care.
One of my presents was a TY toy.
His name is Brownie.
Each of my toys is a boy.

I went to the Boggie fair and played on the rides
Including ten goes on a really big slide.
I had to hook some ducks numbered 1, 2 or 3:
Number three won the Ice Age racoon
Which would be perfect for me.
I hooked a one, then a number two
And won a husky called Iceberg and Drangy Doo.

In the afternoon we planted flowers,
Herbs and food for the Spring,
I watered them well and scattered slug repellent things.
I caught slugs for the birds
To mix with old cereal on their plate.
I watched as every now and then
A bird swooped down and ate.

Welcome Spring, I am glad you are here
This is the most exciting time of the year!

As I happened to be passing by I noticed something different,
a brand new pier at the seaside,
it really did look empty last time I was here.

A brand new pier to start the year
I’ll send a postcard to all of my friends
to show what a brilliant new site this is.

The seagulls fly high
and the fishermen catching fish to make nice food .

It’s an outstanding treat
and the seaside would never have been so sweet.

I want to make a film
I really, really do
But how am I meant to do this
With only me and you?
I’ve only got my house
And my garden to film
How am I meant to joust
When I have no horse and stick?
For the cast I have no one
Only me and you
I need a tonne of actors
To make this dream come true
How am I meant to write the script
And learn all these lines?
I want to be an actor true
but not have all these parts
How am I meant to fly
when I have no sky?
Where is the green screen
and the harness to make you go high?
I want to make a film
I really really do
but how am I meant to do this
with only me and you?
Now I give up I really do
I think I rather
Make a house
That’s what I want to do!

Today I woke up late
Thus missing my train
And making me late for work
Which I’ll never be again

I slipped in the bathroom
And broke a foot and an arm
And I accidently touched a beehive
And upon me there was a swarm

I stepped on a dog’s tail
Which almost bit me dead
And then for 37 days
I was in the hospital bed

So, after all that, I decided on a holiday
A holiday to a beach
Where I ate watermelons
And a tiny little plump peach

So, even after having the worst luck
And so we learn that
Happiness can be found in the darkest of times
If one remembers to switch on the light

Into a dog I can transform
Into a duck I can change
I can convert into things
Very, very strange

I can be a cat
Or very scared mice
I can transform into something
Which you mightn’t think is nice

I have a huge variety
A huge number of animals, a huge range
There’s only one thing, which is annoying
Reality is the only thing I can’t change

Susan Sue, the bad girl
The bully of the school
Being very, very mean
And throwing children in the pool

So once, the new girl, Anne
In the pool, Anne punched Susan Sue
And it was honestly too hard
And it was amazing, I tell you

She lost her whole memory
And no one could tap it back
Then, she was really, really stupid
For there was a whole memory she lacked

She wears socks for gloves
And socks for hats
And socks for socks
And a bunch of socks for mats

It’s because you see…
Anne, the most popular girl in school
Used socks to
Punch her in the pool

Candy rain
Toffees, Chocolates
Kitkats and more
Candies and candies
Knocking on your door

The Candy Lord is here
Blessing upon the Earth
To many toffees and chocolates
It’s giving birth

With Tic Tacs and shots
And delicious creamy cream
The world’s getting delicious
For there are so many ice creams

Dairy milks and snickers
Candyfloss and milky bars
Cadberries and Coffee bite
Jellies and Five stars

Gems and Polo
Making your taste buds jump with delight
And the best part is
That there’s no need to fight

Coming into spring,
there goes the phone – ring, ring.
It’s time for your holiday,
do you want it on a Sunday?

Yes, yes, yes,
but I’ll make the days less.
packing my bag,
I need a tag.

Now that I’m here,
there goes away my fear.
Playing with my toys,
there’s so much noise.

My day was great,
I went to sleep late.
Now it’s another day,
it’s time to feed the horses hay.

We had so much fun,
our day is now done.
It’s time to go home,
my next trip is Rome!

Darling rose your petals shine bright,
Everywhere, dark or light.
Your brilliance brightens up my day,
So forever now, I say hurry.

Your teardrop petals make me cry,
Now for a while, I must say goodbye.
For winter has come upon you now,
But forever I will continue to bow.

When spring appears, I get a treat,
For your smell is eternally sweet.
You attract bees, even butterflies,
A gleaming ruby in their eyes.

There is a book
A mysterious book.
Nobody knows what it says.
It is written in an ancient tongue.
