Goodbye fear
Goodbye shame
Goodbye all
Goodbye chains

Goodbye words
Goodbye frowns
Goodbye sadness
Ups and downs

Hello life
Hello love
Hello happiness
Hello the me I am proud of

Goodbye to my demons
This is where I provide
A note not for me
This is your suicide

I play with my friends
I play in the rain
I would like to play in Spain
I play games
I like to aim

Score goals put the ball in the top bins

I saw a baby bird who fell out a tree

There was a young girl who lived in Spain
who liked to dance in the rain
until she fell down and looked like a clown
and she knew she would never dance again

Happy then Angry

0
by Ashton Leiper aged 9

It was a sunny day in Aberdeen
and a boy was happy like a bee
It was a hot hot day but he needed a hat
but is was a hat like a rat
His mum was angry all the time
the boy needs a real good mum
He wished he was born from a better mum
His mum had a gun, she liked to go like this – Boom! Boom!
She goes for away so the boy doesn’t see it or hear it.

Dear Mr Terrorist

2
by Maisie Thielmann aged 12

You’ve blown up our cities
All for no good reason
I really, truly think
It’s a lot worse than treason.

You’ve injured innocent people
So many have sadly died
Around the sea of flowers
Their parents cried and cried.

Take Manchester for example
The worst attack by far
Twenty two gone at the concert
And London with the car.

There are many more that have happened
You need to close the door
If we all find peace in this world
The terrorists will be no more.

So stop your huge bombs
Put your guns away
These terror attacks are horrible
So find some peace today.
