I love my mummy wherever we go,
She makes me happy with a single smile,
I love the mummy I have,
She takes care of me and I take care of her
Then everybody is happy and filled with love.

What Should I Play?
What should I play?
Maybe a pillow fight
No! It sounds boring
How about going to the shops?
No! I will have to go up and down
Actually how about duck duck goose
No! It makes me tired!
Oh, it is bedtime.

What Should My Poem Be About?
What should my poem be about?
I dunno!
How about DINOSAURS!
Actually, no!
How about ghosts haunting your house?
How about giants, or how about a mouse?
How about playing on a lovely snowy day?
Or going to the theatre to see a funny play!
Dancing in the living room, listening to The Clash,
Or sitting in the kitchen, eating sausages and mash!
How about Mr. Banana Skin, people stepping on him!
Or, how about somebody going to the gym?
Or, how about…. EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!
That’s what this poem’s all about,
Everything and more!
The End! Now, it’s time for bed!
Friendship
Friends support you
Rescue you from troubles
Imagination is stronger
Excellent things can happen
Nice things are able to take place
Disasters are minuscule
Sometimes you make new ones
Hilarious things can happen
Incredible is possible
People can persevere
A Mystery in the Woods
We both stood still
Eyes, hypnotised
Bright colours surrounding the kill
The animal bounced around
Creating an obvious trail
Hitting the hard and leafy ground
I lift my arrow and bow
He pulls it down
Ever so slowly
Whispering quietly in my ear:
Leave it alone
Instead of hitting the rear.
I can’t help but snigger
It scares the animal
It runs away quicker
We may go another day without food
but it was rare
a good mood
In the Zoo
The Lions roar
The Snakes hissssss
The Monkeys go peek-a-boo
The Zebra goes clippity-clop
The Hyena growls
The Meerkat squeaks
The Eagle squawks
The Elephant trumpets
The Giraffes chew the leaves
The Blue Whale sings his whale song
The Polar Bear moans loudly
The Penguins chitter chatter
The Wolves howl
The Zoo Keeper smiles with pride.
The Dying Soldier
Dying I am.
Bullets have pierced
Into my skin,
Leaving me with unbearable pain.
I know I am going to leave this
Earth. This is the last day
I am here.
Let my parents live a long life.
Let my wife and children be happy.
May god help them.
I know this is the last day
I am here.
I look at my surroundings with
My one eye that is left.
For the other has gone.
The river who’s water
Was clear and blue
Has now become the red river.
It’s as red as me.
I am a blood monster.
My green uniform
Has become red too.
Everything is red.
Perhaps, my eye
Is covered in blood.
Perhaps, this is
What makes everything red.
At least fulfil my last wishes.
Let my parents live a long life.
Let my wife and children be happy.
May God help them.
And also answer my one last
Question, divine one,
Is there any way
That I will come back to life?
George the Kraken
My name is George the Kraken
I was born when the world was made, from a giant sea volcano
I have seen the Greek gods
I have seen the first humans
I saw Rome falling
I know whether aliens exist
I know who made the world
I know the mystery of time travel
I know if heaven exists
I am the largest being on Earth
I can move at sixty miles a second
My name is George the Kraken
