On a trampoline
I like to bounce
Up high
Down low
Front drops
Full twists
On a trampoline
Is where I love to be
Poems
Zero to Four
0. Around and round and round we go,
When we get home we make a zero.
1. Start at the top and down we run,
That’s the way we make a one.
2. Around and back on a railroad track
Two, two, two.
3. Around the tree and around the tree,
That’s the way we make a three.
4. Down and over, down some more,
That’s the way we make a four.
I Had a Bear
I had a bear,
I named it Dare.
He had a friend
Called Claire.
We went to the fair.
And he ate a pear.
He stopped to stare
As he saw a mare
Who had long hair
Which was very rare
And that’s the end of the BEAR.
A Gorilla Goes Swimming…
A huge gorilla decided to go swimming…
So he tried on his trunks and packed his towel
He swung through the trees, and found a pool
He dived straight in and the splash was huge
The little monkeys flew high in the air
And his swimming experience ended there
What is Blue?
Blue is a blue bird flying in the sky.
Blue is a bluebell growing on the grass.
Blue is a sadness you get inside and want to cry.
Blue is a blueberry growing on a bush.
Blue is the ocean
Blue is the sky
Blue is sometimes the sea
All right, there are so many things that are blue.
It’s a huge colour
Can you imagine living without it?
This is LOVE
Love comes in any way
Open up, feel free to say
Very deeply love can go
Everyone is individual
Nonsense Poem
Cherry, orange, strawberry,
Oh how so merry,
Danger might give you a fright…
…but maybe not tonight.
Strawberry, orange, cherry,
As beautiful as a fairy,
Now it’s time to play…
…in May!
Cherry, strawberry, blueberry, raspberry,
I want to go on a ferry.
Should I bake…
…Milkyway cakes ?
Strawberry, cherry, raspberry, blueberry,
Where can I find a dairy?
Now it’s time to mend…
…The end!!!
Fear is…
Fear is a shadow dancing on the wall
It is like an everlasting horror movie planting nightmares in your mind
It is dismay, like a black stone gnawing at your heart
It makes you want to cling to your teddy and pull the covers over your head.
Fear is the monster hiding under your bed
It is like the knot in your stomach
It is uneasiness of knowing something bad will happen and you can’t face it alone
It makes you want to scream for your dad.
Fear is the creak of the staircase
It is like the howling of the wind
It is panic, like the trees tapping on your windows
It makes you want to disappear.
