Cubs
Come to cubs
Experience a lot of things
Go on camps
Cook
Celebrate things that you don’t do at home

Dogs

Dogs, dogs, dogs
Big ones, small ones
Love them, hug them

Fireworks

0
by Khalid aged 8

Flickering flames dancing lightly,
People below watching delightedly.
As they shoot up screaming their last goodbyes,
They hear the bellowing sounds of distant cries.
Some pop and like to fizz,
Whilst others prefer to whizz.
People below begin to cheer,
And blast up as you would fear.
It’s almost over so people must go
But I’m glad to to tell you it isn’t the last you’ll know

A Vase of Flowers

1
by Elsie aged 11

Standing there on a windowsill
stood tall and proud
brightly colored the petals are
the earth is rather brown
the vase is pale pink
the leaves are short and round
a sweet smell fills the room
the bees are all around

Roger Stevens that’s the man
How we love your poems
They make us laugh out loud,
The only man in the universe is

My Way

2
by Rik aged 12

I’m on my way,
But I always see them
I always ask for something,
But I did not know anything

Will these blocks not be changed?
Before death?
I have the right time,
Strengthening my children,
And next day

I am scared
I see birds
Who is a flying creature,
When I saw the girls,
Who goes to school?

My house is so bad,
Not desert,
Full room full of clay,
Everything is clean and dirty

I do not have food
There is nothing new to use,
There is no room to leave

When will I change my life?
In the seat?
However, a little cheaper, better,
If you are rich,
I am very thirsty
Do not be happy

Not every person will be satisfied for some time,
There is no life of sowing
But this is a thorny tree.

Buster the Doggy

0
by Isabella Warner aged 7

Buster is a funny dog.
He sniffs me all day long.
He’ll dance, jump and play.
Now Buster’s tired
He rests for the night.

Respected

0
by Sophie Ennor aged

Care for other people
Treat them how you’d expect them to treat you
Treat people well who you don’t know
That makes people like you
You get a reward
Make yourself proud
Stand up to a bully.

Different

by Sophie Ennor aged 9

Looking around you
All the people are so different
You’re one person
Don’t think about other people
Just you
You’re the future and the world

Birthdays

1
by Elsie aged 11

Today is my birthday
how old will I be?
Today is my birthday
I’ll spend it with family
Today is my birthday
what presents will I get?
Today is my birthday
I’m going to party with friends
Today is my birthday
I am going to make…
a birthday cake!
Today is my birthday
it’s coming to an end
Today is my birthday
’til next year and it starts again!
