My best friend is a superstar,
He left me all alone,
Now all I think about is
How he was my friend.

Love is true
It’s better than having anything new
When I went to the zoo
I found someone that I loved
But I still don’t know who.

Oh! What a pretty girl!
Looking like a barbie doll
Dressed up in pink gown
Maybe she is princess of a town
It’s none other than
Me in the mirror

Trapped between horizons
Drifting across the globe
A world of potential
Ready to explode

If you look a little closer
You can see that this world
This universe of wonders
Is a universe of dreams, unfurled

And if you swim this
River of emotions
Climb this
Cliff of despair

Drive this
Highway of perseverance
or hike
This mountain of ideas

Maybe after all of this
You’ll come to realise
The dream you were trying to catch
Was right before your eyes

Deep in the ocean there is a town
Where fish all shapes, sizes and colours live.
Green, Orange, Pink,
Purple and Blue,
But one of them is odd…
There is a fish that stands out from the rest,
Gets picked on for how he is dressed,
The other fish just turn their backs,
Whenever this fish swims past,
Really the other fish are jealous,
Jealous of his look,
The look of the Rainbow fish,
With his colours that stand out.

I enter the gates to the haunted house,
Webs of dust cover the rust,
Crows with red beady eyes flying over and nesting on the roof.
As I look up at the house,
I see it rotting away,
The bricks look as if they’re crumbling.
I enter the house’
It feels cold like ice,
I see white clouds of some unknown thing around me,
A staircase that looks battered and broken.
I try to climb up it,
I see cobwebs and chipped paint
In the haunted house.
