The Misty Storm

0
by Lacey G aged 9

The storm is like a raging cheetah.
wild and cautious.
like a black and white rock.
The air rumbled like a cheetah roaring for food.
It was eating its pray.
in a muddy, dirty field,
completely heartless, with no love.
crashing, roaring and killing,
furious, wild and unstoppable.

Year 4

by Reeyah Lochun aged 9

When I started I was really shy
like a bird that was beginning to fly
I met my teacher Miss Jordan
she was not a bit like a gorgan
We did our work every day
until it was time to play
Watching How to Train your Dragon till the night
we enjoyed the part where there was a big fight
then tears formed in my eyes
I thought it was a whole bunch of lies
My bestie was moving school
when she did I felt like a fool
Miss Jordan also left
I thought my life was death
Then we met Miss Dodd
having a new teacher was quite odd
We went to Raphels Park
When we were there I sat on some bark
In Year 4
I learnt more and more
Year 5 soon

A Day in the Park

0
by Ayan aged 9

I went to the park from school
What can I see?
What can I find?
I see bright butterflies fluttering through the bright sky
I found feathers, maybe ink inside
What a wonderful day
I’ll come back another day

Climbing the Steps of Life

2
by Aditi Vishwanath

Increasing level of difficulty, in each step of this life, compel me to look back, the easy steps just been passed.

The easy steps are gone, leaving us the difficult steps, which is a must to climb, to reach the next step.

Life is about climbing the steps, from the easier to difficult ones, a slight flaw in one single step,
can send you back to previous ones.

With caution and vigilance, calm, peace and patience, each step must be climbed, avoiding all the flaws.

Group Fears

0
by Charlie Darcy aged 9

It is 12 hours
In a school day
And out of nowhere
There was a vicious
Quick, slithering green snake

Gingerly everyone sat back down
and carried on
Working while frozen like
A frightened wild animal
Which was as wild
As a leopard.

Outside was the wild vicious
Green gaping snake
which was trying
to sprint out of
the school.

Hornets’ Lunch Time

2
by Anthony Jones aged 9

It’s a late lunch time
The stats were too long in lime
With a blink of an eye
A massive hornet appeared

This beast was five times bigger than a wasp
It stung hundreds of people

The clouds gingerly flew with the wind
The sun hid behind them
An hour later
Three children got out
As day became night another two were free.

Bumpy Waves

by Jayme-louise aged 9

Against these bumpy, turning waves
A rainbow as colourful as a
Hippy.
They turn and twist like
Dancing strings.
They move as slowly as a slug
The beautiful waves move
My way and nestle to my feet
It tickles your feet so gingerly,
It makes the sand wet.
It is as cold as a freezer
It’s as turquoise as a pen.
It is a beautiful as can be
Especially in the evening
You’ll all see!

True Happiness

0
by Katelyn Perry aged 9

A rainbow flying in the sky

This blue one is divine
That’s why it’s mine

In the night there are twinkling stars
shining above

Every morning I see bees caught in trees

I love the wind blowing in my hair

As I see majestic butterflies

Everytime I sing that’s me letting my true colours shine

As I sneeze dust falls in my glamourous eyes

Never let anyone down

Let your true happiness shine!!!!!

Creepy School

0
by Tianna Smith aged 8

Children working hard while creepy crawlers scuttled in the school yard
all ignoring the teachers’ horrid snoring
The head teacher’s head is crawling!
The teachers are going mad, the little kids are all sad
Half of the class hide, others trying to sneak by
But no one can escape the horrid school
better run now the teachers are drooling

Zombies! It’s like halloween!!
I want to go free to get to my mummy!!!!!!!!!

New Blue Sky

0
by Freddie aged 9

The moon comes into the sky

like the new blue sky.

The sun says good morning,

the moon says good night.

The sun is hot but the moon…

Okay, so I am going to bed

with the moon outside now

It’s the good-night moon.
