Lonely Girl

lonely girl walks alone,
lonely girl stumbles and falls,
lonely girl does not have a name,
but what lonely girl does not know is…

she is not alone.

Sweet Inside

0
by Becky aged 11

you taught me how to read and write,
you were sweet inside,
you had my whole life planned out
it was like a map,
because you were crawling into my head,
you would not stop,
I had enough,
because you were no more.

Van

by Lexie Sheehan aged 9

There once was a man
who loved his van
he loved sitting
and knitting
and cooking in his pan

Magic and Nature

0
by Varunikka aged 6

I saw a wizard that had a magical lizard.
There was an owner with a funky hat and a monkey.
There was a beautiful butterfly high in the sky.
And a bee was flying around a tree.

I love nature.
Enjoy nature!

The Cat

0
by Alfie Clarke aged 9

The cat sat on a mat
He thought it was a cat that’s fat.
He thought there was a brilliant cat near
But he was full of fear and dread
Then he saw a deer in the trees ahead.

The Perfect Girl

2
by Harshita Das aged 12

Popular and cool, always happy and upbeat
She glows, fairer than all the rest
Elegant in her ways, graceful on her feet
Smart and intelligent, she aces every test

For no guy in life will she halt
She exists within my mind and soul
She is a being with no flaws or faults
She is my hopes; My dreams and goals

But she lacks feelings, ability to be in awe
Her perfections make her inhumane
Her no-faults is her biggest flaw
So is her ability to do things without strain

And though she is my model, she is the person I want to be
She will never, ever be the perfect me

Lost in the Magic of Music

4
by Elsie aged 12

I switch on my favourite song,
Getting lost into the magic of the music,
I travel into a world,
That sparkles,
And let’s my imagination run wild,
My world is full of myths,
Creatures that you would never dream to see,
Galahoots, bluppues,
Not forgetting the miuniton,
I imagine a giant water fall crystal colour blue,
Glimmering through the trees of my imagination.
I see dragonflies,
Aqua blue,
Hovering over the water,
Buzzing happily around,
The trees sway in the nice cool breeze,
Making a rustling sound,
Little tiny creatures are living on the leaves,
Tiny turquoise creatures-caterees,
A little dinging sound,
Not ear-splitting like you’d think,
Actually like a harp,
Not a bell,
All these sounds around me,
Make my calming song,
They send me into my imagination world.

Sorry

0
by Elsie aged 12

Sorry I haven’t sent a poem in ages,
I have been writing a story you see,
A dog telling his story,
Of training to be…
A dog who helps children with autism,
He moved away from home,
But he found the bestest of a friend,
The bestest friend who was his owner,
An autistic girl.

Happy Days

0
by Jia aged 6 turning 7

Happy days, happy days are the best
When you say happy that means you’re saying lamps
Can you see how happy I am?
Yes, I am happy
How many times did I say happy?
