Malta is a Mediterranean island.
Malta is the place to relax.
I live here.
You can go and see the three hills
and Gozo, Kemmuna
and the islands of St. Paul.
If you go have fun and relax.
HAVE FUN!

Football Stars

Pele, Maradonna, Messi, Mbappe, Neymar, Ronaldo
best of them all.

Messi and Ronaldo and many more friends with a
beast dribbler too, Neymaaar.

Pele and Maradonna are just the best and everyone
should know about the ‘Hand of God’ in the World Cup in
1986.

Mpappe and Neymar on the same team called
Paris Saint Germain with Angel di Maria.

Those are like the football makers of the world
not just about popular teams like
Arsenal and Man Utd.
I support Man Utd.

For Kacey

Recognition extract for self-love awareness week

Kacey, you’re precious
Like a pounding rhombus of stardust, you beat out your existence
For we are all made of stardust; we are who we are meant to be

So, my blessing of a human being, why don’t you respect that?

With a grin to chase off leopards, you walk with me,
Thy happiness is here, cos it’s meant to be
Kacey, you’re a diamond, it’s inevitable to tell,
So why convince yourself to end up in hell?
You’re beautiful, and incredible, the sunshine to my day,
So, Kacey, the next time I say
You’re special, my sweet darlin’
And this is just a sample,
You’re loved, you’re admired
By everyone.
Everyone.
Take me, for example

The Salutary Tale of Maisy Hale

0
by Indigo Moss aged 9

Have you heard the silver fish story?
I hope not, ‘tis quite shockingly gory
But would you like to hear about
A little girl’s shark turning adult?

As you know a grown up shark
Likes to munch a little girl tart
But it’s not for me to spoil this tale
Of very silly Maisy Hale.

What happened was that silly Maisy
Was unfortunately daft as a daisy
And decided she must have a pet
“A fish I want called Lillibet”

“How about a puppy? Or a bird?”
But these were the most horrid words
To a girl with her heart firmly set
On a little fish called Lillibet.

There she saw it, in the pet shop
Golly, it almost made her heart stop
A silver fish, shimmering, making a splash
She bought it then as quick as a flash.

But two years later, in a winter fall
She felt the need to make a call
After moving Lilli to the bath
Which really proved to be quite daft
When dearest mother took a wash
And passed straight out due to shock.

Maisy phoned –  in great despair
“Are you shark catcher, Mr O’Hair?
My silver fish may be a shark,
You see it doesn’t swim and dart

“Lillibet leaps and I can see
(And this with no uncertainty)
That she has grown to six foot ten
And has eaten up my Uncle Ben!”

But as poor Maisy was only nine
The shark catcher didn’t come in time
That silver fish just ate her up
And escaped down the toilet with one big FLUP!

The Magical Tree

0
by Abigail Grant aged 8

Down in the garden
where the north wind blows,
There grows a small tree
(in the night it glows!)

One day it grew an apple,
just one on a twig.
It was strange, unusual,
red and big.

The next day it grew a peach,
the next a pear.
After, an orange,
It brought up fruit everywhere.

The crowd watched
with fascination,
lots of people,
and one Dalmatian.

‘Wow!’ said everyone,
‘You win a prize!
for the best tree that reaches
to the skies!’

The Ocean of Secrets

by Abigail Grant aged 10

(My version of The Cave of Curiosity)

In the ocean of secrets, I met with
thoughts swimming around my brain,
starfish making silhouettes,
I was bombarded with memories.

In the ocean of secrets, I thought
about the waves of anger flowing inside,
the bubbles bursting with ideas,
the distant island awaiting me.

In the ocean of secrets, I imagined
the colourful fish with unique suggestions,
the sun setting magically on the horizon,
the distant island awaiting me.

In the ocean of secrets, I noticed
the sound of enchanted music, calling my name,
the seahorses hooting with happiness,
the distant island awaiting me.

In the ocean of secrets, I forgot
about the treasure chest at the heart of the sea,
in a boat happily adrift,
the distant island awaiting me.

Listen To The War

0
by Rayhaan Hossain aged 8

Listen to the screeching of pain as the horrific sound ruins soldiers eardrums.
Listen to the crackling of fire that were once warming soldiers skin as they go down.
Listen to the howling of arguments as people erupt with anger.
Listen to the crashing of teams obliterating camps as they drop with sweat.
Listen to the firing of bullets as they slowly hit the ground.

Listen to the voices of those that history has claimed.
100 years ago the guns fell silent.
Listen and remember those who fought in war.
