a hairy bug…

There once was a boy called Tim
He was in a gym
He saw Lee
Lee said hee-hee
But Tim didn’t get slim

What Am I?

0
by Elsie

Big, bold, blinding bright,
Blasts blazes of dazzling light,
Gleam, glimmer, glare, glow,
Glisten, glint, glitter-gold,
Luminous, lambent, lucent, light,
It brings lashes, lashes and lashes of daylight.
Can you guess what I am?
I don’t appear at night,
You can spot me in the day when I am shining bright…

Answer: The Sun

The Magical Palette

by Zac Olorenshaw aged 11

As turquoise as a sparkling topaz.
As gold as the shimmering sun, spreading across the horizon.
As green as slippery snake skin.
As crimson as a robin’s feathery breast.
As black as a witch’s loyal cat.

My best friend,
Apple is her favourite fruit,
Young and beautiful,
Understands me,
Ready to face any problem,
Intelligent like a super computer,
My best best friend.

Birds

by Lily aged 6

Birds are great
Birds are smart
In my heart I wish them luck
Oh beautiful birds, how lovely, how smart
A twinkle in their eye
A tap on their head
Mummy bird says
Look at my face
Birds are wonderful

The Galaxy Flowers

0
by Zishun Ni aged 7

Ashford has beautiful flowers
which flow through the wind,
they smell like sponge cake
especially the roses
they smell gorgeous

The galaxy flowers were better than the roses
because they looked very vibrant and 3D
the galaxy flowers were my favourites
because the smelled like a shampoo of cherry,

They were my sister’s favourite too!

Family family
Always lots of hugs
Family family
Always lots of fun
But you need to remember
What family’s all about

Dogs Can Fly

0
by Robert Donnelly aged 10

Dogs can fly,
When apples yawn,
Dogs can fly,
Donkeys can too.
What a life,
With flying animals
