I once had a friend that I only saw in the dark
My friend was known as…
Big green
SCARY
But all of this was fake
One night I came to see “ BIG GREEN SCARY “
But he was not there
So I called and called
But friend did not come
So I’ve been doing some research
And…
And…
I found out…
I WAS FRIENDS with a MONSTER!

If Animals Entered My School
If animals entered my school
They would probably eat our notebooks
And they would cause a ruckus and mess up our whole class
Then they would go to the cafeteria and eat all of our food
And start to attack us students and teachers
They would probably explore our school
Terrorizing students and teachers
They would start to ram and break various important things
If any animal approaches me I would run for life
I would run at godspeed and ram into any object with no regret
Just get out of any deadly animal’s sight.
A Silent Night.
I hear it.
Here and there
I hear it.
With its odd brown fur, dark and light
So full of lies and corruption
To take the young and corrupt them
‘Slaves and children, what’s the difference?’
To it, a job, to them a loss.
Moving its chains, scraping the floor
Coming to take a baby boy.
It’s hideous features hiding,
With its hooves clattering together,
Its heavy breathe after a step,
The huffs and puffs of a monster,
The rubble of coal rummaging
Clank clank clanking every step
Coming to take a baby boy.
I hear it
Here and now
I hear it.
And it’s come to take my baby boy away.
Oh, the Joy in Christmas
Oh, the joy in Christmas,
Everyone can enjoy, no need to rage or fuss!
Oh, how snowy the mountains get,
We have cookies to bake and decorations to set!
Oh, the merry chants in the streets,
Santa gives good kids candies and treats!
Oh, the merry songs we sing,
during Christmas, anger and hate is not a thing!
Oh, how everyone enjoys,
parents playing with their energetic boys!
Oh, if you stay up all night,
you’ll see Santa’s eaten your cookies and milk in delight!
Oh, how Rudolph flies in the sky,
you should sit on his sleigh, give it a try!
Oh, we all love Christmas,
Christmas is the best time for all of us!
Misaphonia
Most people don’t have one idea
How hard it is to be eating here
Loud breathing
Loud chewing
And clicking galore
And when I get stressed you guys ignore
Misaphonia, it’s a disorder and a fear
One loud chewers can’t go near
I’m acting up I’m acting out
I start to cry and scream and shout
I’m getting emotional ’cause of this certain sound
One everyone hasn’t found
They tell me to listen and to ignore
I’ve been through this many times before
How am I supposed to ignore such a thing
People humming, wanting to sing
People panting as if they’re dogs
I love it when you are quiet
Not making such a riot
But then I like it loud
But there are certain sounds
But not certain things
Like when people sing
Often known as OCD
My Magical Fish
I once had a magical fish as a pet
to him, my cat was a serious threat
He liked to sleep and eat fish food,
he was always in a cheerful mood.
But one day, this cheerful fish of mine,
said to me: I can grant you wishes,
but they have to be good and fine!
After hearing this, I rubbed my eyes
thinking that he was a genie in disguise!
So whenever I feel like having anything,
I shout: “Fish, bring me something.”
The Little Match Mouse
‘Twas the night before Xmas
When all through the house
Not a creature was stealing
Apart from a MOUSE
A big dirty matchbox slung over his back
Snuck across the landing for a kitchen attack
Hauling down sugar plums
And matches off the table
Hoping that these winter stores
Will save a young girl’s fable.
Down the drain pipe, Into the night
Wishing that the last match’s flicker is still burning bright.
Passing 100 alleyways, but which one is right?
Wonders the mouse as he searches for her sight
Now, not far away, on Willoughby Road
Lies a weak little girl
With lips the colour of woad.
Lost and alone in the snow coloured leaves
If the match burns out, for her there will be no Xmas eve.
And in her hand, the light starts to fade,
But wait, is that a squeak she hears?
Or is it story made?
Hope starts to shine in a match so spindly and thin
Her heart is beating drums
Over the shoppers’ din
Could this mouse be a flame,
The dwindling match’s twin?
With a sugar plum in one paw
The mouse stood on the girl’s knee:
“Tonight you’re not alone
For I am here, in the wind and snow
For two matches will glow warmer
And burn away words,
Changing your story
Little Girl
I will help you light a match of Belief,
You still have a chance for Christmas Eve!
What If Christmas Did Not Exist
I sit in the color of green and red
I think to myself
What if this did not exist?
I open my book
Looking at the gift of the tense “are”
It gives me care and teaches me to share
I think to myself
What if this did not exist?
I gently lift my curtain
Glancing at the downpour of crystal snowflakes
Hearing the joyful screams of my neighbour’s children
As they wrap the snow flakes and play the snow game
And I think to myself
What if happiness did not exist?
As I turn
I see my mother hanging socks over the dustless chimney
I see her smile
As she glances at the space underneath the green tree
I see in her joy
The joy of Christmas
At this I realize Christmas shall never cease to exist
If Only
If I was skinny and wasn’t fat
If I was beautiful and not a rat
If I was white and wasn’t brown
If I was happy without a frown
If I had perfect teeth and a great smile
Then liking him could be worthwhile
If I played volleyball and didn’t dance
Then maybe I might have had a chance
If I was short and wasn’t tall
I could have been the prettiest of them all
If you’re reading this and relate to it
Just know someone loves you every bit
If you feel that you are not enough
Just remind yourself you’re beautiful and tough
If you find yourself covering your face
Or want to be a different race
Just know you are loved ❤️
The Sky and the Stars
The stars in the sky
As bright as I
Don’t weep and cry
From the sky because
You are As Bright As I
