To enjoy sing,
My finger expects ring
My uncle’s name is Necolus
My neck expects neckless
In temple rings bell
I expect Jewel

Christmas Lights
Oh the Christmas lights
how they shine
dark in the night sky
gleaming and glowing
in the frosty air
shining through
miles and miles throughout the bare
Inside where we toast Marshmallows
and sing songs
I think about these lights shining where they belong
Her Dream Puppy
Her dream puppy
as pretty as can be
with big brown eyes
and ears so floppy
His tiny little tail
wagging around
my favorite color
oak light brown
He will make me happy when I’m sad
He will make me feel strong when I’m mad
Ny puppy will be mine to keep
I will love him and he will love me
So some day
Her wish will come true
Her dream puppy
here with you
Winter Morning
Winning Poem
I ask no lovelier thing
Than this winter morning:
See how the sparrow bounces on the thin branch,
Its feathers fluffing up against the chill;
See how the sun hides, peeping
Like the dying embers of a beach fire,
While jolly Winston-Churchill-clouds
Skip across the crisp, white sky.
Look! The deep red holly berries glint
Like Santa’s rosy cheeks
As my mind fills with Christmas
Hopes and dreams.
What Santa Does Before Christmas Eve
So let me tell you what Santa
Does before Christmas Eve,
(Pure imagination )
It’s just a guess
(Rather, a complete guess)
But I just think that the humor is less.
So, Santa was checking all the gifts that had been packed,
And they were packed,
So, he left for the Toy Factory,
(For a surprise inspection)
It didn’t take long for him to find out that the bookshelves were broken
So he told the elves,
(Who gave each other a sly smile)
To mend the bookshelves.
Soon Santa Claus knew that it was time to get ready,
But he just got to know that his beard needed a trim,
(Honestly, it was Mrs Claus who reminded him)
So, the elves started trimming his beard,
(They were too clumsy for words)
In the meantime Mrs Claus prepared a mug of steaming hot cocoa,
Filled up to the brim.
Finally it was Christmas Eve,
Vixen, Blitzen and all the other reindeer were ready,
(Prancer was stamping his feet out of excitemen )
The weather was merry and bright,
Because Santa was going to come tonight,
(Now, he was in India)
He heard a father tell his son,
That Santa came at night as it was his style,
Santa’s eyes twinkled and he gave a wide smile.
Winter
Snow is falling all around
Deer are running in the parks
Ho ho ho Santa’s coming
Sometimes I wish it was Christmas all year round
Remembering the story, the star in the sky
The three kings going to see Jesus
The star was far but they still followed
The presents bling in the night sky
Two Days Left
Two days left until the day
A day where all the children say Yay!
A day that brings joy to the world
Joy, joy goes beyond the Earth
If you’re waiting for the name of the day the wait
It’s lovely and maybe does bring some extra weight
The name is CHRISTMAS!
Christmas
Christmas
Christmas.
Only
Two Days Left!
One More Sleep
The tree is up,
The countdown finished,
No worries at all.
The stockings hung,
The mince pie and milk for Santa
A carrot for his tireless steed.
Is it real?
Can it really be?
Will I wake up tomorrow with a present under the tree?
The tree is up,
The countdown finished,
No worries, no worries.
Area 51
Up, up in space I lay,
No one knows me yet,
They don’t know what I say,
They don’t know my secrets yet.
They say aliens live here,
But they really don’t know,
I bet they don’t come because of a fear,
But I really don’t know.
There are lots of secrets in me,
So do come and visit,
Not with fear but with glee,
Come and visit…..
