Little Pony

A little pony named ‘Grass’
Sat far from the mass
Two rabbits from ‘Hustle’
Came with no bustle
The wind blew
And the butterflies flew
Grass said, ‘There’s no fuss’

Love

by Olamojiba aged 11 1/2

If U really love me
U will never hurt me.
U will never be rude to me.
U will never betray me. U will never say I hate U
and especially U wouldn’t tell of me for something I did .
Do U really love me?
If U do
never do those things to me.

Do You Love Me?

0
by Amelie aged 11

Ummmm,
I don’t know how to say this,
it’s truly me,
not you,
but I don’t think you’re right for me,
I’m sorry.

But you I see,
have stolen my heart,
you made me almost umm…
PUKE!
Only because of your beauty,
I hope you love me too.

So you see,
I love you,
but do you love me?

Sunrise Chorus

0
by Asirini Parakramawansha aged 11

As the wind chimes whistle the opening tunes,
the shy meadow flowers slowly bloom.
Along comes the song of the garden birds,
accompanied by laughing boys and girls.
Next, comes an orchestra of waking souls,
And the bubbling of a small fish shoal.
A sky of radiant pink and red,
Along with a chorus,
For those waking from bed.

The Golden Flower

In my mother’s garden,
I see this little flower.
when the sun smiled,
it glittered, reaching the sky
Who is golden?
You or me?

The Shimmering Sea

by Desandhi Parakramawansha aged 9

I stare outside my window,
what do I see…
A pink sky and a shimmering blue sea,
I smell salty water,
and hear the little fishies,
A lovely mermaid splashing her tail,
I must break this prison..
to feel the sand on my feet,
I really think I’m there,
on a golden sandy beach.
